Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us and a limited amount of technical information needed to operate the platform.

• Account information: name, email address, password credentials, and role.
• Business profile: business name, city, state, business stage, selected pathway, target launch date, and onboarding answers.
• Readiness content you create: task statuses, notes, verification sources, reminders, and document records you enter.
• Document metadata: document name, type, status, issuing agency, issue and expiration dates, and any file reference you provide.
• Files you upload: your business logo and PDF attachments you add to a tracked document. These are held in private storage that is not publicly readable, together with metadata such as the original filename, file type, size, upload time, and the record you linked it to.
• Technical information: device type, browser, and basic usage events used to keep the service working.

We use your information to generate your roadmap and readiness snapshot, send in-app reminders, provide support, improve pathway content, and operate billing when payment processing is enabled.

We do not sell your personal information.

Platform administrators can view account information, pathway selection, aggregate completion metrics, and document metadata for support and product quality purposes.

Administrators can see that a file exists and its metadata. They have no permission to read, open, or download the contents of the files you upload, the storage rules only allow the account that owns a file to retrieve it.

We share information with service providers that host our infrastructure, process payments, or deliver notifications, only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

• Hosting, database, authentication, and private file storage.
• Email delivery for account and reminder messages.
• Payment processing, only when paid billing is switched on.
• Product and website measurement, plus error monitoring, as described below.

We measure how the product is used so we can fix confusing steps. Measurement records page paths and simple event names such as opening a checklist or finishing onboarding.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number, business answers, notes, document details, or uploaded file contents to any measurement or error monitoring provider. Identifiers inside page paths, such as a document reference, are replaced before anything is recorded, and session or screen recording is not enabled.

Website measurement runs only on our public marketing pages, never inside your signed-in workspace.

When something breaks, we report the technical error only. Error text and stack details are cleaned of email addresses, keys, tokens, and card-like numbers before they leave your browser.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we skip measurement entirely.

We keep your readiness data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for records and legal purposes. We use least-privilege access patterns and role-based permissions.

Uploaded files are held in private storage buckets. Access rules allow only the account that owns a file to retrieve it, and retrieval happens through short-lived links generated for that account. Uploads are checked for file type and size before they are accepted. We do not scan files for malware, so do not upload anything you are not comfortable keeping in a cloud service.

No system is perfectly secure.

You can update your business profile and notification preferences in Settings. The data export in Settings includes your business profile, readiness content, document records, and the metadata for every file you have stored. It does not bundle the file contents themselves, you can download each stored file from the screen it is attached to.

You can also delete your stored files from Settings. Deleting them removes the stored objects and their metadata records; we do not report a deletion as done unless it actually completed.

To close your account and have the rest of your data removed, use "Request account deletion" in Settings or email Sophia@bhcsvc.com. Account deletion is handled by our team rather than automatically, and we confirm by email once it is done.

Ready Set Biz is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. If your program keeps records about children, you remain responsible for how those records are handled and for meeting any requirements that apply to them.
